Elevating the status of Seoul as an international sports city

The Seoul Para Sports Association supports international sports projects that will have a positive ripple effect throughout society, such as improving the status of Seoul in the international community, encouraging civic integration, and boosting the pride of athletes with disabilities, as well as their personal achievements from improved athletic performance.

Purposes

  • Improving the performance and competitiveness of athletes with disabilities in Korea
  • Strengthening para sports diplomacy through the stimulation of international exchanges

Projects

Hosting the Seoul International Park Golf Tournament for persons with disability
Hosting the International Park Golf Tournament for both foreign and domestic athletes with disabilities
Presenting the JTBC Seoul Marathon
Holding the JTBC Seoul Marathon for athletes with and without disabilities at home and abroad
Hosting the Seoul Korea Open International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament
Presenting the Korea Open International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament for both athletes with and without disabilities
International sports exchanges for athletes with disabilities
Conducting various para sports exchange projects with developed and underdeveloped countries
Participating in international competitions
Supporting participation and hosting of international competitions for events not included in the Seoul City Para Sports Team
